“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme originally hosted on Breaking the Spine but has since linked up with “Can’t Wait Wednesday” at Wishful Endings now that the original creator is unable to host it anymore. This is a great way to share upcoming released you’re excited about!
I absolutely loved the Wounded Kingdom Books (admittedly, at this time, I have only finished the first two but can’t see myself hating the third). So it is, with obvious excitement that I got …excited when I saw this little gem on the Orbit Books publishing schedule. It’s due out September 26th and I can’t wait for it to hit the shelves. Hoping to get an ARC of it, but I’ll just be happy to give it a read at any point in the future!
Blurb:
Enter the Hundred Isles, where ships made from the bones of extinct dragons battle for supremacy on the high seas.
Our hero Meas Giryn must unite a crew of condemned criminals for a suicide mission when the first live dragon in centuries is spotted in far off waters…
Haven’t heard of this author before! This definitely sounds interesting.

Doesn’t it just? I don’t normally feel grabbed by this style but fell in love with the artwork.

High hopes that this will be brilliant and you are in for a treat when you finally get around to reading King of Assassins too.👍 Have you managed to make it onto Orbits list yet?

I haven’t heard back 😦 going to actually send my address next time. Will leave it a month so my stupidity might get forgotten.

If that’s the book you want then perhaps wait until near the release date or until the publicist starts posting pictures of ARC’s on twitter and then jump on the twitter picture and ask for a copy of there, that’s what most seem to do.

I’ll try both … I’ll just have to start trying to figure out who the publicist is.

I saw this on Orbit’s Twitter the other day and I have to agree, it looks exciting! I swear, I have yet to be let down by a book by Orbit.

I loved his first series (I haven’t finished the third book either :P) so I’m sure this will be great too! The cover design artist is the same one who did the new Realm of the Elderlings covers, right?

I don’t know anything about the cover artist other than the cover drew me in and I can’t stop looking at it.
I really need to get around to the 3rd book as well 🙈
